Nihan Tezer, Haluk Arkar.

Abstract
Objective: In this study, the effect of personality on perceived social support, loneliness, social network and negative social relationship were assessed. The predictive role of personality on social network, loneliness and social support was investigated. Methods: Two hundred and twenty-five subjects were assessed with Temperament and Character Inventory, Multidimensional Scale of Perceived Social Support, UCLA Loneliness Scale, Social Network Inventory and Negative Social Relationship Question. Results: According to regression analysis, self-directedness and self-transcendence predicted social support, and self-directedness, harm avoidance, persistence and self-transcendence predicted loneliness. Path analysis results indicated that social support, loneliness and social network have a partial mediator effect on this predictive relation. Conclusion: Results were discussed according to Cognitive Bias Model and Social Network Mediator Model.

Key words: personality dimensions, perceived social support, loneliness

Sosyal ilişkilerde kişilik özellikleri etkili mi? Sosyal ağ, yalnızlık ve algılanan sosyal desteğin aracı etki olarak incelenmesi

Ozet
Amaç: Bu çalışmada, kişilik özelliklerinin algılanan sosyal destek, yalnızlık, sosyal ağ ve olumsuz sosyal ilişki üzerindeki etkisi incelenmiştir. Kişilik özelliklerinin yordayıcı etkisinde sosyal ağ, yalnızlık ve sosyal desteğin etkilerinin payları araştırılmıştır. Yöntem: İki yüz yirmi beş katılımcı Mizaç ve Karakter Ölçeği, Çok Boyutlu Algılanan Sosyal Destek Ölçeği, UCLA Yalnızlık Ölçeği, Sosyal Ağ Ölçeği ve Olumsuz Sosyal İlişki Sorusu kullanılarak değerlendirildi. Sonuçlar: Regresyon analizi, sosyal desteğin kendini yönetme ve kendini aşma; yalnızlığın kendini yönetme, zarardan kaçınma, ısrarcılık ve kendini aşma boyutları tarafından yordandığını gösterdi. Yol analizi kişilik özelliklerinin yordayıcı etkisini açıklamada sosyal destek, yalnızlık ve sosyal ağın birbirleri üzerinde kısmi etkisi olduğunu gösterdi. Tartışma: Bulgular Bilişsel Yanlılık Modeli ve Sosyal Ağ Aracı Modeli çerçevesinde tartışılmıştır.
